Listen to Classical Music from Live Orchestras on Windows 8

Digital Music Hall is a free app for Windows 8 and 8.1 which allows you to listen to classical music from live orchestras on your device. When you launch the app, you will be presented with a screen where you will be shown a list of tiles on which you can click to be presented with the video playback screen where you can see the orchestra playing on your device. The app supports snapped mode as well, and when you snap the app to either side of the screen you can continue working on whatever you were working on. The app has a great collection of videos that you can choose by clicking on their respective tiles. You can also see the future planned concerts by clicking on the Live section in the app. You can make a note of these dates and come back to the app on those dates and time and come back to the app on those dates to watch the orchestra in the performance.

When you launch Digital Music Hall on your device, you will be shown the below interface.

You can see the tiles which you can click on in the above screenshot. You can scroll to the right of the main screen to reveal more tiles. You can also click on the Live section towards the extreme right of the screen to reveal the list of live upcoming shows in the app. You can see the screen which pops up on your screen when you click on the Live button in the screenshot below.

You can click on the above tiles to read more information about the shows planned ahead. You can return to the app to watch the live streaming of these shows. When you click on any of the video tiles, you will be taken to the video playback screen. This can be sheen in the screenshot below.

You can see the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. You can also adjust the volume from the bottom left of the screen. The video can be paused by clicking anywhere at the center of the video playback screen.
