Michael Jackson Videos is a free Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 app that allows you to watch videos related to Michael Jackson online. When you install and run the app, you will be presented with an interface which allows you to choose from tiles of album videos, fan videos and images related to Michael Jackson’s life. The app makes for a great entertainment app when you don’t have anything to do. Overall, this is a well designed and a well polished app which accomplishes the task that it’s meant to do with a fair bit of ease and comfort.

Upon installation and launch of Michael Jackson Videos app on your Windows 8 device, you will be presented with a screen which looks like the below screenshot.
In the above screen, you can read a brief biography of Michael Jackson himself, and you can also choose to view the videos available in the app by scrolling towards the right side of the screen. The video tiles are presented in a manner which looks and feels native to the Windows 8 ecosystem.
You can click on any one of the tile to go to the video playback screen of the app. The video playback screen of the app looks like the below screenshot.
The video player screen has all the standard controls like play, pause, rewind, loop etc. which allow you to control the video playback. You can also see a list of Michael Jackson songs at the right side of the screen which you can choose to play back by clicking on them. Towards the bottom right of the video player screen, you can choose to increase the size of the video player interface, change the volume or to change the video quality from HD to vice versa. The maximized video player interface looks like the below screenshot.
What’s more, the app also has support for snapped mode, which allows you to multitask while you watch the videos. The snapped view support is showcased in the screenshot below.
Apart from giving you access to videos, the app also allows you view photos of Michael Jackson’s life by scrolling more towards the right of the screen, and then clicking on the desired photo that you wish to see. The picture viewer gallery can be seen in the below screenshot.
Overall, this is one app that none of the Michael Jackson fans should miss. Overall, this is a well designed and polished app that caters to all the needs of MJ fans worldwide. I hope that you will like this app, and will fondly remember MJ even posthumously for the great artist that he was!

The verdict:
Michael Jackson Videos is a great app that you can download and have on your device if you are looking for an app that allows you access to a great amount of Michael Jackson data including his biography, video tracks as well as his pictures. The only drawback of this app is that it has ads, and requires an active internet connection to run. We can do away with the active internet drawback because of the amazingly small size of the app – about 1.7 MB totally, but the ads still bother me. Maybe I’m just a bit too much of a minimalism freak, maybe not. Either way, I hope the developer removes the ads in the future builds of the app!
