Travel Guide App For Windows 8: tripwolf
tripwolf is a free travel guide app for Windows 8 and 8.1. The app features guides of various cities and countries all over the world which will allow you to have a brief idea about the location which you are visiting. The app when launched will ask you for your location, and once you have granted location access, it will show you the relevant guide under the Welcome tab but you can still browse the hundreds of other guides as well under the Guides tab at the top of the screen. The app makes for a good download on devices running Windows 8 or above if you are a frequent traveler to locations all over the world.

Main features of tripwolf for Windows 8 and 8.1:
When you install and run tripwolf on your device, you will be presented with the below screen.
In the above screen you will be able to choose from various tabs like Welcome, Guides, Special and Offers. In the above screen, you will be shown the locations which are near you as the app fetches your location data. Say if you live in a different country, you will be presented with the locations near you. You can see an overview of the guide when you click on the location at the left side of the screen.
You can read more about the location by clicking on the Read More button.
Clicking on the Read More button will present you with the various categories in the above shown screen. You can click on any of the category in the above screen, you will be presented with information all pertaining to that particular category.
In the above category you can see the Gastronomy category wherein you can see all the restaurants listed. When you click on a particular tile of a restaurant, you’ll be presented with information regarding it. In the main screen of the app, you can access the Must Know section of the app.
You can return to the main screen of the app by clicking on the back button at the top left corner of the screen. This summarizes the main features of the app for Windows 8 and 8.1.
