Candy Sweet Soda is a free game for Windows 8 and 8.1 in which you have to feed candies falling from the sky to the cute little monster at the bottom of the screen. The game has ridiculously easy controls in which you just have to click on the falling candies from the sky and the cute monster will jump up and eat the candies. The game makes for a great download on tablets as well as it supports portrait mode. The game works well on touch devices and is pretty smooth.

When you run the game, you will be presented with a screen where you can directly start off the gameplay by clicking on the big START button at the bottom of the screen.
When you click on the Start button, the gameplay screen will be presented to you with falling candies from the sky.
You have to click on the candies, and doing so will move the monster around and make him munch on the candy that you clicked on. The game can be paused at any time via the conveniently located pause button at the top right corner of the screen.
And you can then click or tap anywhere on the screen to resume the game. You can see your current candy eating streak at the top left of the screen. The game gets over when you miss any particular falling candy from the sky.

Candy Sweet Soda is a very well designed game app for Windows 8 and 8.1 and makes for a good pastime app. The game is very lightweight and so you basically have nothing to lose by downloading it – neither a lot of space on your device, nor a lot of data bandwidth expenditure in downloading it. Overall, I would rate this game a 3.5 out of 5, as there is no background music in the game and hence it gets a little boring when playing Ii t for a long duration.
