Dungeon Gems is a free RPG game for Windows 8 and 8.1. When you launch the game, you will be presented with an interface wherein you will be able to start the game from the dungeon map. The level upon being selected, will take you to the gameplay screen and if it’s the first time that you are playing the game, be prepared to be presented with the Tutorial interface. Here you will learn about the basics of combat. The game is based upon the 5 elements – wood, water, fire, light and dark and in the game, you have to defeat the monsters who attack you using appropriate powers from the bottom of the screen by forming links via clicking and dragging. You can also use your hero’s special abilities to defeat the monsters, demons or dragons.

When you install and run the game on your device, you will be taken to the main screen of the game which looks like the below screenshot.
As can be seen above, the game does need to download some extra content before it starts. Once the extra content has been downloaded, what follows is a tutorial screen which can be seen in the screenshot below.
You can see the tutorial window above where the lady is telling you how to play the game. The glove will indicate which rune you have to link or click on. Once the monsters are defeated, you will be taken to a boss level wherein you have to fight the dragons or villains who are much stronger than you. Here, it’s a game of strategy and how well you are able to strategize to defeat the boss. Once the boss is defeated, you will be taken to the level statistics screen as can be seen below.
Now, you will be taken back to the main screen where you will be able to choose the level that you wish to play from the dungeon map.
